What you'll do

  • Captivating, positive, and high-quality client communication.
  • Identifying areas of improvement to documentation, workflow, and Revenue Cycle Management process by taking initiative and utilizing effective problem-solving skills and strong knowledge of NextGen Enterprise Solutions.
  • Supervising a multi-disciplinary team of people (on-shore and off-shore) responsible for all aspects of Revenue Cycle Management including but not limited to charge, payment posing, A/R follow-up, denials, rejections, and appealed claims.
  • Analyzing trends through software reporting and expert usage of Excel to isolate problematic billing issues requiring improvement.
  • Manages communication/client relations between APS and Practice Administrators/Managers
  • Review and assess quality trends of staff performance.
  • Ensures the highest physician practice satisfaction through client needs assessment and quality assurance review.
  • Coach and develop staff alongside AR Manager and Team Leads.
  • Actively engage with client stakeholders on process improvement and industry news.
  • Conduct monthly meetings with clients.
  • Manage and conduct staffing reviews.
  • Present reports to the leadership team informing them of any necessary staffing changes.
  • Manage and oversee practice key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Communicate client's RCM health status.
  • Communicate to client areas for improvement (i.e. coding, modifier usage, workflow optimization, new lines of revenue, etc.).

What we're looking for

  • Qualified candidates will have achieved at least an associate degree in the field of medical billing or related-field and/or have 2-3 years of related medical billing/AR management experience.
  • Experience working in Radiology.
  • Minimum of three years' experience using NextGen Enterprise.  
  • Minimum five years' experience dealing with group practices / practice administrators, preferably in a third-party billing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Candidates must have experience in supervising staff and overseeing workflow functions.
  • Knowledge of medical billing compliance guidelines
  • Familiarity of physician practice and medical billing operations
  • Ability to grow with a company, travel on an occasional basis, motivate others, communicate in a professional manner, and multi-task
  • Solutions oriented, professional attitude, team player, exceptional communication skills (written and verbal), and ability to think analytically
  • Ability to partner with the APS team as well as the client
