Become an Assembler! We are looking for a Vice President of Physician RCM to join our Assembly Health Executive Team. This is a full-time, exempt position reporting to our Chief Operating Officer.

What you'll do

  • Own Assembly Health’s Physician RCM P&L.
  • Partner with the COO to consolidate and restructure Assembly Health's Physician RCM business unit into specialty verticals.
  • Provide ongoing leadership and direction to the Physician RCM business unit to achieve top-line growth and margin expansion targets.
  • Collaborate with Assembly Health's COO and VP of Account Management to establish a standardized Account Management program and team that delivers predictable results.
  • Collaborate with Assembly Health's CTO to leverage technology to drive scale.
  • Partner with sales leadership to establish and execute upsell programs.
  • Establish and grow strong relationships with clients to ensure high satisfaction, client retention, and referral generation.
  • Recruit and retain top talent and develop a high-performing team.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve the desired business goals.
  • Continuously identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance overall performance.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the Physician RCM business unit.
  • Establish internal performance dashboards and regularly share business insights with the senior leadership team.
  • Manage Assembly's offshore BPOs relationships and assure their operations consistently achieve the agreed-upon performance targets.
  • Maintain compliance with governmental and industry requirements.
  • Champion the concept, principles, and services of Assembly Health.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, Business Administration, or a related field; master’s degree is a plus.
  • 15+ years of leadership experience in general management or account management in a high-growth company in the healthcare space.
  • Experience owning a P&L
  • Proven experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, preferably in an ambulatory setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare billing, coding, and reimbursement processes.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Driven, biased towards action.
  • Familiarity with relevant healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using revenue cycle management software and other relevant tools.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Candidate located in Chicago is preferred.
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer. Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 10 pounds at times.
